Our Delicious Natural 'Heather' Honey is one of our Most Premium and Expensive Honeys to Produce... It is EXCEPTIONALLY PURE and is made by our Bees in the Pollution Free 'Heather National Park' area in North Germany. Many other Heather Honeys are mixed with cheaper honey to make the Harvest 'Go Further'... We Never Do This, you could compare ALL of our Pure Honey... to "100% Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, with no Added Water, or Sugars".
We make and Harvest this Very Special Honey during the Heather Blossom Season. The Purple and Pink carpet of flowers emphasises the beauty of the landscape. The park boasts one of the largest continuous stretch of heather blossoms in Germany. The area is protected and therefore, there is no motorised traffic, allowed inside the National Park, this means that you can find many people using pedal bicycles and also traditional horse and cart to navigate the expansive park.
Our Bees use the Pollen from the Heather Blossom to make this delicious Natural Honey.

The colour of Heather Honey is a Rich Dark Amber/Brown. The Honey flavour and aroma is unique, with tones of the Heather flower scent. Heather Honey Tastes Slightly More Intense, Tangy, Slightly Smoky, Mildly Sweet and Pungent than most Honey, with a Long Aftertaste... which Makes it very RARE. The Fructose is Lower, so it Crystallises Faster and whilst it is not fully 'Set', it is Less Runny and the Texture tastes Slightly Gritty.
